Terms of Service
Effective 8 October 2026. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
1. The service
TamperAudit provides an AI governance enforcement layer: a policy gateway, a tamper-evident audit log, an approval workflow and compliance reporting. The service is provided as software only.
2. No legal advice
Output from TamperAudit, including scan findings, risk scores and generated reports, is informational and is not legal, regulatory or professional advice. Applicability of the EU AI Act, the Colorado AI Act or any other law to your specific system depends on facts we do not and cannot see. You are responsible for obtaining qualified advice before relying on any output in a regulatory filing or a decision affecting individuals.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the content you send through the gateway, for the lawfulness of your processing, for configuring policies that reflect your actual obligations, and for human review of anything the service flags for approval. Do not use the service to process data you are not permitted to process.
4. Availability
We target 99.5% monthly uptime but do not guarantee it. Plan limits (gated calls per month) apply; exceeding a limit throttles enforcement to an audit-only mode rather than failing open.
5. Intellectual property
You retain all rights to your content and to the audit records generated from it. We retain rights to the service itself. Aggregate, de-identified usage statistics do not count as your content.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability for indirect, incidental or consequential loss is excluded. Aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding 12 months. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate for material breach not cured within 30 days. On termination you may export your audit chain and reports for 12 months; account deletion follows the retention schedule in the Privacy Policy.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
